Admission Policy

Victoria International College admits qualified students of any age, sex, race, religion, national origin, ancestry, handicap/disability, color, or ethnic or national origin to all the rights, programs, privileges, and activities generally accorded to the students in the College.

The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework for developing the admission policy for Victoria International College. The principal aim of the Admissions Policy of the College doesn’t discriminate on the basis of race, age, religion, national origin, ancestry, handicap/disability, sex, color or ethnic or national origin in administration of educational policies, awards, scholarship and other college administered programs. We operate an admissions policy which ensures equality of opportunity to all applicants.

Victoria International College admits all students who have the capability to benefit from institutional programs and courses. To qualify for selection to a course all applicants are required to satisfy the College’s requirements. The College will impose minimum academic requirements in order to maintain Victoria International College educational standards, and to ensure that those students ultimately selected have the basic abilities required to succeed in study at college level.

The Administration Board must determine a process of registration for admission to enable the admission of learners to take place in a timely and efficient manner. Every course has an admissions selector, who considers all the applications for that area of study. Selectors are interested in an applicant’s academic achievements but they will also take note of the spread of subjects studied and will check for competence in any specific subjects required for particular courses.

Applicants who do not meet the prerequisite requirements for entrance into the diploma/degree program may upgrade themselves by attending relevant programs. The Victoria International College believes that a diverse community is an essential part of its core values, and that diversity amongst our student body enriches learning, teaching, and research. All applications and recommendations can be submitted online.
